Every Ford Blue Advantage vehicle carries a Ford-backed Comprehensive Limited Warranty covering more than 1,000 components: 12 months/12,000 miles on Gold, 90 days/4,000 miles on Blue. Gold adds a 7-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty. Coverage transfers to future owners at no cost. Roadside lasts 7 years on Gold and 90 days on Blue. Both have a 14-day/1,000-mile Money Back Guarantee.
What the comprehensive warranty covers
Ford lists: engine, transmission, rear-wheel drive, front-wheel drive, steering components, brakes, front and rear suspension, electrical system, air conditioning and heating, technology components, emissions components, factory-installed audio and safety systems. The powertrain warranty (Gold) covers the engine, transmission and more. Exact parts and exclusions are in the limited warranty booklet for the vehicle's tier.

Separately, Ford's program footnotes say Ford Roadside Assistance is complimentary to all Ford owners for up to 5 years or 60,000 miles from the original date of sale, so a newer Blue Certified Ford may still have that coverage after the 90 days.
The Money Back Guarantee, in Ford's terms
- Return the vehicle to the dealer you bought it from within 14 days or 1,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the sale date and mileage on the bill of sale.
- It must be in the condition sold, apart from normal wear; no accident, lien or encumbrance (other than the dealership retail contract).
- If it qualifies, you are refunded the price you paid.
- You remain responsible for any negative equity from your trade, and the trade-in is not returned.
- Replacing it with another vehicle may need a new credit application with different terms.
- One return per six months at any Ford dealer.
Transfer, deductible and extended plans
- Transfer: Ford says the limited warranty is fully transferable to future owners at no cost.
- Deductible: Ford's public pages don't state one. Check the limited warranty booklet for your vehicle's tier, or ask us before you sign.
- Longer coverage: Ford Extended Service Plans (Ford Protect) are available from any Ford dealer. Swant Graber also offers CNA National and National Auto Care contracts. All are optional and never required to buy or finance.

Return the vehicle to the selling Ford dealer within 14 days or 1,000 miles, in the condition sold, for a refund of the price paid. Negative equity stays with you, the trade-in is not returned, and you can use it once every six months.
