Short answer: The 2.0L turbo (228 hp) is on every trim and tows 3,250 lb with AWD or the Trailering Package. The 3.6L V6 (308 hp) is RS only, requires the $650 Trailering Package, and tows 4,500 lb.

What can it pull in real life?
- 3,250 lb: a fishing boat, a couple of sleds, or a small utility trailer.
- 4,500 lb: a small pontoon or pop-up camper, with margin.
- More than that: look at a Traverse or a truck.
Remember the trailer, gear and passengers all count. Stay under the rated tow weight and the vehicle's GVWR (about 6,000 lb).
Which engine should you pick?
For commuting and winter driving, the 2.0L turbo AWD gives the best mpg and plenty of power. Pick the V6 RS only if towing over 3,250 lb matters — you give up about 3 mpg combined.
