Short answer: A new 2026 Blazer carries GM's 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper and 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain limited warranties. For used, buy on condition and records, and consider CarBravo certified.

Starting prices are 2026 Chevrolet MSRP as shown on chevrolet.com October 31, 2026 (2LT $34,300, 3LT $39,700, RS $43,600); AWD and option prices from GM pricing reported by GM Authority (Nov 2025). Destination (about $1,895) and final price: always check the window sticker or ask us. GM has not published 2028 Blazer pricing as of October 31, 2026.

Warranty on a new 2026 Blazer

  • Bumper-to-bumper: 3 years/36,000 miles.
  • Powertrain: 5 years/60,000 miles.
  • Confirm current terms and any complimentary maintenance on chevrolet.com or with us — they can change by model year.

2.0L turbo vs 3.6L V6 ownership

The 2.0L turbo is the volume engine and the only choice on 2LT/3LT. The 3.6L V6 is a long-running GM engine offered on the RS. For either: follow the oil-life monitor, use the specified oil, and keep up with recalls (check the VIN at NHTSA). See 2.0L vs V6 & towing.

Used Blazer checklist

  • Service records and open-recall check by VIN.
  • Look for the Trailering Package if you'll tow (1,500 vs 3,250/4,500 lb).
  • Underbody salt corrosion — Wisconsin cars need a look underneath.
  • Tires and brakes: 20- and 21-in RS tires cost more to replace.
  • CarBravo certified adds GM-backed coverage — see the CarBravo used Blazer guide.

Does the 2027 gap matter?

There is no 2027 gas Blazer, so the 2026 is the last of the current design and the 2028 refresh is next. That doesn't change the warranty on a 2026; it may make a late-build 2026 the best-equipped version of this generation.

This page covers the gas Blazer, which is what Swant Graber sells. The Blazer EV is a separate vehicle.

Blazer questions

What warranty comes with a Chevy Blazer?

GM's 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper and 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain limited warranties on a new Blazer; confirm current terms on chevrolet.com.

Is the Chevy Blazer reliable?

It's a mature design (2019–2026). Buy on condition and service records, check recalls by VIN, and consider CarBravo certified on a used one.

Will a 2026 Blazer still be supported after the 2028 comes out?

Yes. Warranty and parts support don't depend on the model continuing; our service department works on the gas Blazer.

What should I check on a used Blazer?

Records, recalls, underbody salt corrosion, the Trailering Package if you tow, and tire size/cost.
