The short answer
New Chevrolet, Ford, Ram and Dodge vehicles come with a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty from the manufacturer, with longer diesel coverage. 2026 Ram trucks add a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty for the original owner.
On used vehicles, Swant Graber includes: 45 days / 5,000 miles powertrain, on used units 10 model years or newer with under 135,000 miles. CarBravo (Swant Graber Motors) and Ford Blue Advantage (Swant Graber Ford) vehicles carry the programs' own coverage, and we honor CarBravo's 10-day/500-mile exchange and Blue Advantage's 14-day/1,000-mile Money Back Guarantee.
We also offer optional service contracts from CNA National, Ford Protect and National Auto Care. You don't need one to buy, lease or finance a vehicle.

*Ram's 10-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Care extension applies to 2026 model year Ram trucks (excluding fully electric) bought new at retail by the first owner; later owners keep 5 years/60,000 miles (5 years/100,000 diesel). Ram's 2027 light-duty booklet lists 5 years/60,000 miles powertrain with no extension. For other 2027 models, the warranty booklet for that vehicle controls; we'll show it to you before you sign.
Warranty work on Chevrolet, Ram and Dodge is done at Swant Graber Motors; Ford at Swant Graber Ford. We don't service electric vehicles, so EV warranty work goes to an EV-certified dealer for that brand.

More on Ford Blue Advantage.
- Remaining factory warranty: a newer used vehicle may still have factory coverage. Ask us to check by VIN.
Every used vehicle has a Wisconsin Buyers Guide on the window showing the warranty that applies, or that it's sold as-is.
Service contracts we offer
A service contract (often called an "extended warranty") pays for covered repairs after a mechanical breakdown, under the contract's terms. Under Wisconsin dealer rules, service contracts aren't warranties, but they follow the same written-disclosure rules. We offer three providers. Descriptions come from each provider's published materials; the contract you sign controls.
CNA National Warranty (VSC Care)
- Powertrain Advantage Care+Plus: stated-component coverage of the engine, transmission and drivetrain assembly, including turbochargers, transfer case and 4WD actuator.
- Vehicle Value Care+Plus and Mechanical Advantage Care+Plus: middle tiers that add systems such as fuel, cooling, electrical, steering, brakes, climate control and suspension, and then electronics.
- Automotive Preferred Care+Plus: exclusionary coverage; CNA lists the parts that aren't covered (for example brake pads and rotors, body panels, glass and the exhaust system).
- Benefits CNA lists: roadside up to $50 and towing up to $150 per occurrence, rental reimbursement up to $50 a day ($350 max), trip-interruption reimbursement, and up to $100 toward a factory-warranty deductible. Coverage is honored at licensed repair facilities in the U.S. and Canada and is secondary to the manufacturer's warranty.
- CNA also has Certified+Plus plans for manufacturer-certified vehicles and EVSC for electric vehicles.
Ford Protect Extended Service Plans
- PowertrainCARE (29 components), BaseCARE (84), ExtraCARE (113) and PremiumCARE (1,000+). Each tier includes the one below it.
- New-vehicle plans run up to 10 years or 175,000 miles. Used plans are available on Ford and other makes, typically from 1 year/10,000 miles up to 6 years/75,000 miles, starting at the signature date and current mileage; eligibility depends on model year and mileage.
- Ford also lists upgrade plans for Ford Blue Advantage Gold and Blue certified vehicles.
- Plans include 24-hour roadside assistance and are transferable (transfer fee applies).
National Auto Care (NAC)
- Pinnacle: NAC's most comprehensive, exclusionary agreement, for vehicles 10 years old or newer with up to 156,000 miles at purchase.
- Preferred: stated-component coverage for vehicles up to 15 years old and 156,000 miles, with options such as personal-use snowplow and commercial use (surcharges apply).
- Elite series (Powertrain, Standard, Premium Elite): stated-component plans; Premium Elite lists no mileage or year restriction.
- NAC has merged with EasyCare; the claims and customer-service number is printed on your agreement.
Optional, and never required for financing
Service contracts are optional. You can buy, lease or finance a vehicle at Swant Graber without one, and it's never a condition of financing approval. CNA's own materials say it plainly: "You may purchase or lease a vehicle without this product."
- If you choose one, it's listed separately on your purchase contract, as Wisconsin rules require.
- Ask to read the contract before you sign: deductible, exclusions, cancellation and refund terms, transfer rules, and where repairs can be done.
- A service contract doesn't replace the factory warranty. While factory coverage lasts, it pays first.
- We don't list prices here; they depend on the vehicle, its mileage, the plan and the deductible. Ask our finance office for a written quote.

Which is right for me? Driving in northwest Wisconsin
| If you… | Start with | Then consider |
|---|---|---|
| Drive 25,000+ miles a year (Hwy 8 and US 53 commuting, sales routes) | Factory coverage runs out by miles first: 36,000 bumper-to-bumper can end in under 2 years | A service contract whose mileage limit fits your driving (Ford Protect new plans go up to 175,000 miles) |
| Tow a camper, boat or equipment trailer | Diesel coverage (Duramax, Power Stroke, Cummins: 5 years/100,000 miles) or the 2026 Ram original-owner 10/100 powertrain | Check the contract's commercial-use and towing terms before you sign |
| Plow snow | Factory warranty terms on plow prep packages and upfits (see the booklet) | NAC's Preferred agreement lists a personal-use snowplow option (surcharge); ask how each plan treats plows |
| Drive on salted winter roads | Know that corrosion warranties cover rust-through from defects, not surface rust from road salt | Rinse the underbody through winter; service contracts generally exclude body and rust damage |
| Buy used, over 10 model years or 135,000 miles | Our 45-day coverage doesn't apply; ask what's on the Wisconsin Buyers Guide | NAC Preferred (vehicles up to 15 years/156,000 miles) or Premium Elite (no age or mileage limit); confirm eligibility |
| Buy a CarBravo or Blue Advantage vehicle | The certified coverage and the exchange or Money Back Guarantee we honor | CNA Certified+Plus or Ford Protect Blue Advantage upgrade plans |
