Ford Blue Certified is the Ford Blue Advantage tier for older, higher-mile vehicles, and it is not limited to Fords. The vehicle must be no more than 10 years old with under 150,000 miles and pass a 139-point inspection. It comes with a 90-day/4,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty backed by Ford, 90 days of 24/7 Roadside Assistance, a CARFAX report and the 14-day/1,000-mile Money Back Guarantee.

Blue vs. a regular used car
Blue's warranty is short, so its main value is the 139-point inspection, the CARFAX screen (flood, fire, frame, salvage, branded title, odometer, accidents), Ford-backed coverage for the first 90 days and the right to return the vehicle within 14 days/1,000 miles. Non-certified used units at Swant Graber that are 10 model years or newer with under 150,000 miles get our 45-day/5,000-mile powertrain coverage instead (see dealer for details). Ford says Ford Extended Service Plans are available from any Ford dealer if you want longer coverage; they are optional and never required to buy or finance.
Who Blue fits
- A tighter budget, or a 7–10 year old truck with real miles.
- A non-Ford you like (a Chevy, Toyota or Honda can be Blue Certified at a Ford store).
- Shoppers who value a return window more than long coverage.
