2026 Dodge Durango maintenance schedule, from the owner handbook

The V6 and 5.7L HEMI follow one plan; the SRT engines have a much shorter oil limit.

The short answer

Answer

Dodge's 2026 Durango handbook says to service the oil within 500 miles of the "Oil Change Required" message, and never go past 10,000 miles, 12 months or 350 engine hours on the 3.6L V6 and 5.7L HEMI. On the SRT 6.4L and 6.2L engines, the limit is 6,000 miles or six months, and the oil should be changed at six months even if the message hasn't appeared.

Other items for the V6 and 5.7L: cabin air filter every 12,000 miles; at 30,000 miles, drain and refill the transfer case and replace the engine air filter; spark plugs and PCV valve at 100,000 miles; coolant at 10 years or 150,000 miles. Brake fluid is every 24 months.

Why the SRT limit is shorter

The handbook's SRT section notes that the oil change indicator does not track time, so it sets a six-month change even without the message, and says to change oil more often after extended off-road driving. The V6 and 5.7L plan says trailer towing, short trips, extreme temperatures and E85 use bring the indicator on sooner.
