Short answer
- The 2027 Ford Expedition keeps the 2026 powertrains — the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 and the 440-hp High Output V6 on Tremor and select Platinum packages.
- 2027 changes are packaging: 4x2 on more trims, Trailer Tow Prep standard on Active Touring and 4x2 Platinum, a Family Travel Package, a 30th Anniversary package, a laminated windshield and new colors.
- If a 2026 in stock has the build you want, it can be the better deal; if you want a new 2027 package or color, order.
