Screens, phone, safety and gas vs EV
11.3-inch touchscreen and 11-inch driver display are standard. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus Google built-in are standard. Chevy Safety Assist covers six features (AEB, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, IntelliBeam). HD Surround Vision is in the Safety and Technology Package on any trim. Ventilated front seats: RS/ACTIV Convenience III. Hands-free liftgate: standard RS/ACTIV, Convenience II on LT.

Does the Equinox have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?
Yes, standard on every trim, along with Google built-in (Google Maps, Assistant and Play apps; some services need a data plan after the trial).
What is included in Chevy Safety Assist?
Six standard features: Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator and IntelliBeam auto high beams. The Equinox has 15+ standard safety and driver-assist features in all.
Is HD Surround Vision available on the Equinox?
Yes, on LT, RS and ACTIV through the Safety and Technology Package, which also adds a rear camera mirror, fog lamps, Rear Pedestrian Alert and Traffic Sign Recognition.
Does the Equinox have ventilated seats?
Yes, ventilated front seats come with Convenience Package III, which is offered on RS and ACTIV only. LT does not offer them.
Does the Equinox have a hands-free liftgate?
Yes. A hands-free power liftgate is standard on RS and ACTIV and comes with Convenience Package II on LT. Without it, the LT has a manual liftgate.
What is the difference between the Equinox and the Equinox EV?
They are different vehicles that share a name. The Equinox is a gas 1.5L turbo SUV; the Equinox EV is a battery-electric model on GM's Ultium platform. Swant Graber sells the gas Equinox; every Equinox page and price on our site refers to the gas model.
Does the Equinox have Google built-in?
Yes, on every 2027 Equinox: Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Play apps on the 11.3-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard.
Does every Equinox have remote start?
Yes. Remote start, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are standard on every 2027 Equinox through Convenience Package I.
Does the Equinox have adaptive cruise control?
Yes, standard on every 2027 Equinox, along with Blind Zone Steering Assist and Chevy Safety Assist.
What is Buckle to Drive?
A Teen Driver-linked feature that keeps the Equinox in Park for up to 20 seconds until the driver buckles up. It's standard.
Does the Equinox have Wi-Fi?
It's Wi-Fi hotspot capable with a 5G connection; a data plan is required.
Is there hidden storage in the Equinox?
Yes, under the rear cargo floor.
