Short answer: The 2026 Mustang starts at $32,640 for an EcoBoost fastback and $46,560 for a V8 GT, plus $1,995 destination. The Dark Horse is $63,080 and the Dark Horse SC Coupe is $103,490. EcoBoost is automatic-only; GT and Dark Horse offer a 6-speed manual.

When you build or order a Mustang, the trim is set by an equipment group. These are the codes from Ford's 2026 order guide — we use the same language when we place your order.

How to choose a trim
- Daily driver with good mpg: EcoBoost, rated 22/33 mpg. Premium adds the upgraded interior and tech.
- The V8 experience: GT. Step to GT Premium for nicer interior trim or the convertible body.
- Track days: Dark Horse with Brembo brakes, Recaro seats and an available Tremec 6-speed.
- No compromise: Dark Horse SC with the supercharged 5.2L V8.
Late-2026 changes
Job 2 2026 builds, from April 13, 2026, added Avalanche Gray paint and the Mustang RTR Package (fastback only). Ford had not published 2027 pricing as of October 31, 2026; see what's new for 2027.
What you pay at Swant Graber
Every new Mustang is sold at invoice, with no mandatory dealer add-ons. The $127.50 doc fee is the only dealer fee; tax, title and registration are extra. Shoppers in Barron, Rice Lake, Cumberland and Chetek can have a written out-the-door number before they drive over.

EcoBoost Premium: worth $3,700 more?
Heated/cooled seats, heated wheel, ActiveX upholstery, MyColor lighting and access to the curved display and B&O audio. In northwest Wisconsin, yes for most buyers. Base makes sense for a pure summer car on a budget.
Special editions
2026: TLD Signature Edition (550 units), RTR, FX and Dark Horse SC. The 2025-only 60th Anniversary Package shows up on remaining 2025 and used stock.
